
I'm a brand and content marketer straddling the line between creative and strategic thinking. From small to large agencies and start-ups to giant conglomerates, I've worn many hats across the digital, creative, brand, and social teams with 9 years of experience under my belt as a full-time or contract worker. I also run my own business on the side providing strategic and creative consulting for a brand's marketing operations, and digital marketing needs with a specialization in social media strategy.
Right now I am focusing on sharpening my leadership skills in roles within brand and content as a manager/director taking charge of campaigns and making sure my team has enough direction, guidance, and resources to execute and grow respectively in their careers. There is nothing that makes me happier than to see my team succeed and know that I did my best to help facilitate their own growth.
I think as a woman of colour in my field, it is important to lead my team with 3 core values – empathy, transparency, and decisiveness. When I'm not working, I'm most likely at a hip-hop show, chilling out to R&B or TSwift at home, munching on Filipino food, catching the latest Raptors game, or at some market looking for cool home decor pieces.
